I still don't get why Amazon UK delayed the phone till December when Nokia UK will be getting the N900 on the 9th. Anybody have any info on that?

I was thinking more of something like this being on the Nokia office wall. They don't seem to have any idea that days have numbers for the rest of us.

Like I said, I think Amazon held onto a date till they were absolutely sure they weren't going to get it by then. And then probably picked another. If December is for real, I may wait till May instead, for complex personal reasons. Or buy something Nice and Simple for £29.99 from tesco.

well in android u can work it through to install more in application memory am just curious how to buy the DROID what i mean is were to buy it from only from amazon what about it cost anyway u know i was wishing for the N900 but the problem is that am traveling for around 2 month after 14 novmeber Guffaw ..... and my phone is broken so what i can i do beside buying Droid !

I imagine they'll be filling their orders first, before retailers. That having been said, I'm a bit clueless where 'December' came from. Seems a bit arbitrary.

I'm definitely canceling my order if I don't get anything by the end of November. I need a device to replace my ipod, which my mother has taken, because I would be going on a oversea trip around early December.

I mean, if I don't get my device by the end of November, I might as well just wait out on MWC and see what would interest me more. I've already waited over a year just to find a phone to my liking, don't mind waiting longer for a better one.

just want to mention that i was at Nokia in Moscow 2 days ago...and they told me that they will have it within 14 days... Czech date has been fixed for November 20th...and tomorrow im calling Nokia Czech again to get updated info

I am in for the long haul, so I approved the delay. What can I say? This is the device I want. I wish it was here already, but like a good piece of art, you just can't rush it. Now, if it comes with Documents to Go out of the box, all will be forgiven. ;)

smart move of amazon to send out that mail. makes you committed for another 30 days. if it hasnt shipped the 28th, they send another one, well, how long shall the waiting be then..? yes. company's and their sneaky tricks.

i'm seriously considering to cancel the n900 and for a little more buy a LED 40 inch tv with the nintendo WII and the new super mario bros. :/

i already bought an other phone already, OLDSKOOL nokia 6510, back to basics. who needs mobile internet anyway :mad:
