so your iphone can handle couple provisionings with mfe and n900 can handle none. so with full provisionings your iphone is as useless as n900.... so you've got plain luck. |

Not convinced by the "dim in sunlight" photo - an OLED faring better than transflective? Hard to believe.
As for video, not all is rosy in the N900 camp: http://www.n97i.com/nokia-n900/nokia...-shootout-4116 |

30-40s just to open the Exchange Inbox? No IMAP IDLE? Even my old E61 (not i) could beat that. And if the N900 had even basic provisioning (i.e. password and remote wipe), perhaps this chap wouldn't be worrying so much about his personal data: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=41435 |

Not that I'd use my device on a corporate exchange server that required it. Nothing quite like giving your employer carte blanche to wipe your device remotely. Quote:

Re: Great Iphone (3GS) parody [56k warning]
gruber,
still hanging around? :D there must be something really exciting in this forum for you. Your device sucks (according to you) It's in the box (according to you) mfe does not work for you (that sucks) your browser crashes frequently (mine doesn't) why do you still care? come back when mfe works for your version of exchange. - good bye  |

What did you do, buy the phone THEN find this site? Do you normally spend $600+ on devices and follow up finding out what it is capable of? And enjoy your iPhone. It may be unlocked but you still have to jailbreak it. Of course, if you think the iPhone is in any way equal or superior to the N900, you should never have bought an N900 in the first place. Enjoy your toy because, comparatively speaking, that's what it is. |
