Hey Jaffa, ever hear back about getting whitelisted on facebook for support with phone numbers, etc?

And why can't it be done automatically periodically?

Hi there.

Wonderful app first :)

Question : for some contacts, Hermes matches contacts, add homepages information but don't add the birthday date, which is even presents on the Facebook profile of the person.

Any idea why ?

Several reasons I can think of:
  • Nokia don't have commercial agreements with Twitter and Facebook and may feel them necessary to give a good user experience.
  • Nokia like to enable third party developers rather than the OS do everything and then no apps available.
  • Third party devs can iterate quicker and respond to feedback and new providers more rapidly.

Because the code to hook up with alarmd hasn't been written yet and no UI exists to allow the user to select how frequently they want to do it. Patches welcome.

That user's privacy settings don't allow third party applications to see their birthday.

Great work Jaffa, love this app, 1 thing i cant seem to do though, can you remove a contact from the update list? for example i have updated my contact with their birthday, webpage etc etc but i dont want to keep updating their picture as i have a picture i want to use on my phone?
