Been using this great app for a few months now, but today have run into some trouble with it. I upgraded to v0.8.8 via application manager, and now when I refresh/retrieve contacts from Facebook all my contacts' pictures are very small and therefore are poor quality. It retrieves my contacts' birthdays fine, but the pictures now look horrible as they are blurred. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Not seen that myself, no. Could you raise a bug with explicit instructions on how to reproduce.

As an example, the following are bad reproduction instructions:
  1. Run Hermes

The following are good reproduction instructions:
  1. Disable any Facebook chat accounts
  2. Open Contacts and go to a contact which is matched to a Facebook friend.
  3. Click on the contact picture to edit the contact.
  4. Click on the contact picture to open the picture edit dialogue.
  5. Select "no picture" by selecting the top-left (typically a blue figure) picture.
  6. Save the contact changes.
  7. Open Hermes
  8. Go to Accounts and disable all accounts apart from Facebook.
  9. Click Retrieve to fill in the missing information.
  10. Open Contacts and go back to the contact.

yup same goes for me as well updated to .8.8 now pics have become blurred....

glad i read this before updating!

is there a way to make the facebook chat contacts pictures as clear as the the phone book conracts?

This can be tracked under #11736. I have a fix and will push 0.8.9 today with it.

I have a problem with Hermes 0.8.8 and 0.8.9. When I click on Retrieve, this message appears:

I have not connectivity problems with other apps (browser, etc.)
