I've never been to Barcelona. But the following things come to mind:
Football, palm trees, Gaudi.

Best fit for a shirt would probably be a palm tree. Palm trees always look cool :)
Ok, it's maybe a bit generic, but I would still like it.

Yummy - I like Afri Cola :) And I like the bottle design very much too. And yes, In fact I had something similar in mind ;)

Right now it's probably a bit too much of a rip off, but a very nice start indeed!

I was going to start on graphics for this (badge, etc) a while back but got the impression they wouldn't be needed... I can still work something up though.

La Sagrada Familia comes to mind for a theme...

The Sagrada Familial could be a stylized M for Maemo (with some imagination)

Sorry for coming with the boring disclaimer but it's either "Maemo" with some font or "maemo.org" logo. As you prefer.

The one with the palm looks good but could be Acapulco as well. ;)
