I believe, we will get it much sooner.

I would also hope so, BUT ;) I just had a look at the N97 release:

- They announced shipping at the 2nd of june
- It arrived at my doorstep at the 18th of june (with express shipping)

So it took 16 days from 'we are shipping' to 'its here'. If I add that all up, I come out at the 25th pretty close. Plus this time I have 'normal' shipping (express never works in the first days of a preorder, grrr).
But that does not stop me from hoping and checking shop.nokia.com several times a day ;) ;)

Best regards,
Corwin

Ok, so i'm a UK pre-order customer. I just called the online shop support line and asked them when my order will be shipped and an American sounding operator said by the 19th November.

I asked why hasn't it shipped already when Nokia had sent a worldwide press release yesterday saying that orders had shipped. She seemed to have no idea what I was talking about and repated the the product will ship by the 19th Nov.

I then asked why my order details screen on their website said ship qty: 0 and backordered: 0. She repeated robotically that the only information they have is that pre-orders will be shipped by 19th Nov.

Well thats my contribution. I'm seriously holding back at having a rant at call-centre operators but what are you gonna do?

Also, if Tre (3) simcards is an issue, this would also affect all 3 simcards from other regions. Nokia Sweden has to also realise there are other operators here Tele2, Telenor etc... The marketing and rollout strategy taken by Nokia Sweden does not totally justify their response. First post BTW!

Welcome. :)

And I agree. From a customer perspective it is indeed a tad annoying to have to wait several weeks for a product just because other customers have problems with it. However, according to Mobil's quote, Klas Ström said they would probably delay the delivery, so it is not definite. I can understand they do not want to deliver to Three customers and I see it is a problem since they can't in all cases know which customers have which operator..
