Re: Maemo SDK 5 Installation Guide on Windows PC
No, no solution for this. It's only a development platform. Nothing that needs to use special Hardware. This will not work. (no video, 3D effekts, no Phone, SMS, Sound and so one)
If anyone else knows how get Files in the Maemo Filesysten on Xephyr let me also know. I'm interested too. I'm testing at the moment to import my contacts. And with aviability to copy files direct one it would be much easyier for me. ;) |

Re: Maemo SDK 5 Installation Guide on Windows PC
Pretty nice guide, everything worked as described till now.
One more question, is there a way to get connection to the internet inside vmware workstation, using wifi instead of ethernet or is it not supported? |
Re: Maemo SDK 5 Installation Guide on Windows PC
Just a FYI: Their is also a Virtual PC image that is mostly setup.
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=31141 and for those who are wanting to develop using a VM; you might also checkout: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=32537 Where I outline a technique I use to run Xephyr from outside the VM which makes development much nicer and easier. Nathan |

Winrar wasn't working for me either, but 7zip does.

Re: Maemo SDK 5 Installation Guide on Windows PC
Step 4 and 5 were useful for me in Fedora 12 as well. Thanks.
Now i just need to go Google how to write a "hello world" program and find out how install a terminal in the emulator. |
