I've updated the first post, but I thought I should make a new post to bump the thread, too. Here's what I added to the first post:

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing
Quick question: Is the /debian folder supposed to be hidden? 0.9.35-3 failed to mount for me until I un-hid it. I thought it was hidden so maemo didn't index it or something.

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing
Flynx: can you be more specific with your bug report?
I purposely changed the name of the mounting folder to /.debian to keep it from being indexed, yes, but why did you need to unhide it? Can you run "sudo closechroot", change the directory name back to /.debian, then run and post the output of "sudo debian" please? |

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing
Flynx:
You are right, I should use /.debian instead of /debian as my default mount point in my script. This will not cause a problem in new installs, because I have changed this in the ~/.chroot config file, but it will cause a problem for users updating from previous versions, because it doesn't update previously installed .chroot files. As a workaround, change the "CHROOT=/debian" line to "CHROOT=/.debian" in your /home/user/.chroot file. |
