Set a colorful image to the background. Take a shot 90 degree angle. Take a shot 25 degree angle (AMOLED still colorful and sharp) |

N900 has an LCD. That's why it's visible in sunlight.

Yup, sadly an LCD screen (love my last phones display - AMOLED i8910, now have HD2, LCD, but consoling myself with the WVGA resolution and 4.3inch display).

OLEDs, being purely semiconductor light emitters, can do no such thing. I like being able to see my phone display in bright sunlight. I'd love to have a 42" OLED HDTV monitor in my room, but LCD is still more useful for mobile devices for people acquainted with the Great Yellow Ball In The Sky. |

Yes, Internet says this like you. And am happy you have eyes with sunlight bypassing system, I dont have them.
