I called the NYC store and they have them in stock. Today they are going to the ones on their list. The remaining ones will be sold to the public tomorrow. I'm wondering if I should take my chance and drive up to NYC to see if they have any left.

good luck..i really doubt you can pick one up tomorrow. They have to sell to all those on that list. I am sure after all is said and done they will only be a handful of phones left if any.

i just drove to nyc and told them i got a message last night to pick up the phone they checked that i was on the list and sold the phone no problems so i guess as long as you are on the list you can get it

I'm driving up tonight but it won't be my main purpose in going. At the very least I can try their demo and see if I actually like it. If I'm lucky, I'll pick one up.

Ok guys, just got my phone. Here's what I found out from the Nokia store.

- The nasty woman at the store is the manager.

- They have 2 preorder lists. They are calling people on the first list today and you have until they close to pick it up.

- The phone goes on sale to the public tomorrow.

- They expect to be sold out.

- If they call you then you have to call them back and give them your CC number...they will charge it on the spot.


- There were another 3-4 phones waiting to be picked up.
