My original order was placed in early-mid October.

As you know there's been a lot of ppl cancelling from other places / or being cancelled due to card fails and re/ordering direct instead, so I can see how ...where are we now... the second batch could go out of stock in a day. That could explain why I haven't heard anything. Sounds like you just missed out by a matter of hours :( I hope I'm wrong though.

I'm sure someone ordered on monday and got theirs midweek.

I'd be very surprised if you got an answer back. That 4th December date is the most realistic date we've got now

if he is gona be like he was yesterday then any direct questions then he wont answer although fi he does then fair enough but i aint expecting much from him wish i hadnt sent that customer satisfaction report to them now saying how pleased i was with Jon

be honest?! They clearly aren't.

If people who've ordered from Nokia.co.uk can tell "it's 3 miles away" Why the HELL can't the NFS tell where their consignment of 100 odd N900 actually is.

No logistics firm in the world would be this lax with delivers.. "you'll get you deliveries some time in the next 3 weeks"

Even shipping containers have stringent dead-lines.. Unlike Nokia, they take their job very seriously. Shitty deliveries for a logistic firm means lost custom..

They are handing out leaflets outside the NFS and telling people 4th Dec.. They're unsure if they'll be getting them any time sooner.. but they're SURE they'll have them 4th Dec.. that means they'll have them 4th Dec..

We have been stiched.. It's more of a piss take since they require a deposit unlike the online orders..

Am I being negative, or just telling it like it is.. baah..

I'll be down there monday if they don't have it, I'll ask for my money back.. again..

Na, didn't know any better and ordered from MFD on an 18 month contract in mid-oct. Thinking I might get mine by Jan at the earliest with the way things are going. :mad:

agreed i can see myself cancelling soon as i wanted a PRE ORDER that means BEFORE the general sale to the public whats the point of all this pre order stuff if your just gona get it same day as general sale i may wait till jan and see who offers it on better contract at this rate

I ordered from play.com mid Oct, but cancelled on Tuesday when they changed release date to 31/12/09.

Honestly, I don't think there is a quick way. All the stock coming into the UK is pre-orders which some ppl have been waiting for since Sept. Let me know if you find a way tho
