I thought the guys across the pond said there were some issues with the bluetooth headsets Nokia was 'offering' to them

that bluetooth headset is that only available if you "buy" the phone instead of taking it out on contract or can you take it out on contratc and still get the bluetooth headset (if you have a flyer)

Do you need the flyer to claim for the free headphones?

I tried looking on the flyer for the information but couldn't find anything....so I assumed they're going to come with all the N900 contracts, flyer or no flyer.

Am I correct?

I'm only ASSUMING the flyer says free BT headset...its either that or they offer it for £49.99? I can't read the damn thing on that video. Might be worth asking the chap who uploaded it; was only uploaded today so was very recently filmed, maybe over this weekend even.

Or you could just say you've got the flyer but lost it.
It's not like there's a unique barcode on the flyer they need to scan in order to give it to you

looks like those in the states are starting to geth there orders shipped(from dell anyway) and we still have no official word on when the uk is going to get it im so tempted to go to the store tomorrow and see what is going on i want the pone so bad but on tmobile as the voda deal only has 512m of fair usage data and tmob has 1gb although im half tempted to wait and see who else brings it out ie orange or someone and see what they offer but that means waiting even longer

Thats been there a wee while (the week commencing 23rd thingy)

- I will let you know what I find out on my travels to Regent Street. Sadly, I doubt very much its actually OUT now; otherwise they would have a midnight launch yadayadayada.

Perhaps the gods will smile down upon my little trip from Twickenham to Regent Street ;)

Ah yes, I am looking forward to another week of perpetually hitting refresh on my MPD order page, irritable exchanges with their live online help, constantly checking twitter for any news on the N900 and of course coming to this forum every few minutes to see if any of the shipping/delivery threads have been updated.

And best of all....the growing frustration as people in the US, UAE, Italy, France, Poland, Germany receive their devices and post about it.

I'd looked on Friday night and it wasn't there, last night was the first time I'd noticed. I was actually trying to send an email to Nokia, and that still hasn't worked. The "contact us" page wouldn't accept my submission.

Good luck at Regent Street, I'm tempted to stay off work today in vain hope!

If the first person to make it to the regents Park store can update everyone here it would be appreciated

Do they have the phone?
If buying it on contract, are we tied to MPD delivery schedules, or can we take it out the store that day?
Im suspecting that we can order the phone with or without contract but will have to wait a few days..

Last time I believe MPD on the 'first and exclusive' offers, if I can get it elsewhere, Im going to take great pleasure on cancelling my order with them.
I did have a pre-order with nokia direct, then the missus found out, went mad, and now Im relying on MPD, or the NFS is they come through with contracts first.

No. I have an order in with Nokia.co.uk. For complicated reasons (it wasn't impatience) I switched in a couple of weeks ago. So potentially I could Get The Email early this week, depending where I am in the queue. If it's all for real. :)

The thing is I know I'm not getting my device this week as I've ordered with MPD and I'm damn sure they won't deliver until at least the end of November. But at the same time I'm really rooting for you guys who've ordered directly from Nokia, partly because it does at least show that the N900 has hit our shores...and partly out of some weird national pride that the UK shouldn't be so far behind the rest of the world in getting the latest gadgets. ;)

I admire your community spirit, but Im more selfish, I want other people to start to get their confirmation emails, so I then know it is actually real and available. Then I can then shop around and hopefully get it somewhere else and get the pleasure of telling MPD to take a long running jump :D
