Hi Vitaly

You're quite silent during these last days...I hope it's because you and the other Nokia dev programmers are busy with fixes and upgrade code for Maemo :-).

I just downloaded the PR 1.1.1 but I saw the problem with outlook sync with recurring events is still there.
Are you working on this problem that is preventing many people the full use of MFE sync (at least with Exchange 2003 server)?
I know that you can give us any release date...but to just have an idea...

Another topic: we have seen MeeGO announcement from Nokia & Intel.
Many things are still unclear though...for istance: the new SO would be totally opensouce. Does this include the closed source apps like MFE or Calendar/ Phone application ?

Thanks for the reply,
Cesare

Glad to hear you ! :-) :)

I'm sure we'll recevie good news soon...I'm confident there will be solved some of the issue with MFE...expecially the ones regarding the famous problem with recurring events :D

Just another question to all of you: do the users that are using MFE with Exchange 2007 servers have the problems with the sync of calendar/task when there are recurring events ?
Or this is an issue only of the MFE with 2003 servers ?

Thanks for the reply,
Cesare

Hi,

I am trying to configure my OWA via MFE in my N900. But it doesn't work, where as the same settings works in other device ( like IPHONE).

Could you please tell me is this feature not supported in N900?

See http://wiki.maemo.org/Mail_for_Exchange - if your server requires devices to be provisionable, then it won't work with the N900.

Sorry, I can not get your question. OWA means "Outlook Web Access" and is differfent from mfe. You need to be able to use browser in order to use owa. Mfe has no relation to owa.

So, what problem do you have?

I have to admit this :-) However, no official promises as I am not the marketing guy. And don't expect it in the next update, pls. This is not simple as it affects the whole platform...
