Re: N900 from Amazon: deals, availability, shipping status
Brace yourselves, guys. I'll be shocked AND pissed at Amazon if you recent order guys get your phones on the 18th.
I ordered on 2 Dec. It's further spelled-out in post #840 of this thread (page 84), but the summary goes... Ordered 2 Dec. On 3 Dec, my expected delivery date was the 9th. On the 8th, they slipped it to the 15th. On the 12th, they slipped it to the 17th. Today, they slipped it to the 23rd. My Amazon price ($550-50 rebate) is $50 better than other sources, so I'm happier waiting than going elsewhere. I WANT this phone ASAP--I don't NEED this phone ASAP! Still, want can be an irritating feeling when it ain't happenin' fast enough. :( Edit: *** They shipped it *** @6pm on Fri, 18th. With 2-day shipping, they say it will arrive Tues, 22nd. I guess Sat doesn't count towards shipping? Sounds funny to say shipped on the 18th, and will arrive on 22nd with 2-day shipping! --edited to correct price to $550 from $450 typo. |
Re: N900 from Amazon: deals, availability, shipping status
I got mine last week! I've been putting it through its paces so much I haven't had much time to visit the forum. There is just so much to master with this phone.
Unfortunately. I've got a small defective part (the camera door split open). So I'm waiting to get my next n900 replacement before I ship it back. |
Re: N900 from Amazon: deals, availability, shipping status
Hang in there guys. The November ordered only just shipped. So I guess your order may be a little delay. Mine only just shipped on the 11December and got on the 14th December. But now it is shipped again to NZ to me. lol My brother opened it to get IMEI out. Now it is somewhere unknown..This is with the 3-5Day Express International Mail + insurance. But seems like 2 days is already passing by. And yet still no confirmation regarding it being landed on NZ soil yet either. Over 24hours trip still no signed of arrival.
Eg: Miami -> NZ (Auckland City) = 19-22hours estimate flight time. I just hope USPS is not going to be a disappointment again. My sister paid an extra shipping cost as well in a hope of speeding it up. Detailed Results: International Dispatch, December 15, 2009, 5:05 pm, ISC MIAMI FL (USPS) Arrival Processed through Sort Facility, December 15, 2009, 7:49 am, MIAMI, FL 33112 Processed through Sort Facility, December 14, 2009, 7:28 pm, ORLANDO, FL 32899 Acceptance, December 14, 2009, 5:15 pm, ORLANDO, FL 32814 |

Re: N900 from Amazon: deals, availability, shipping status
Screw Amazon .. my lack of patience has got the best of me and I couldn't bare to be at their mercy. I canceled my original order and went with a 3rd party supplier; I paid substantially more, but it'll be here tomorrow and I can get back with my life now ;)

Re: N900 from Amazon: deals, availability, shipping status
I made my order on the 11th of Dec. Amazon when they showed as having stock on the 16th, and the delivery date hasn't changed from Dec. 21-22, however it is now Dec. 16 and the order didn't come out today... what gives?
I want to have it on the 22nd because I'm having it delivered to a PO Box as I don't live in the USA (I live 3 hours from the border) and I'm doing my X-mas shopping on that day. Now that I see Amazon having stock on the 20th, oh man... |
Re: N900 from Amazon: deals, availability, shipping status
Both my orders were placed with Amazon on November 12.
My tracking with USPS is like this since I received the email from PriceUSA on the 14th of December (already the 15th in Australia) saying that my order was shipped: Quote:

Re: N900 from Amazon: deals, availability, shipping status
Lorddct,
I DIDN'T get a $450 price. Typo on my part. My bad. I'll go back and edit it. I've got the $550 Amazon deal, but every other pseudo-reputable dealer I've seen is $50+ higher, and some will charge tax, too (Dell, Nokia). |
