Which is very pathetically marketing scam basically. The consumers need to know when and where they will get their order. Consumers give the money and the retailer sell it to them. That is what it should be done right now. Now that consumers got money to pay for the goods, but the retailer trying to fool around and act like they dont want money anymore. |

Stupid Amazon doesn't admit that they shipped items to customer already. They denied it still. All they say is we will looking into it, the new shipment is on the way, it is normal to have a several weeks delay from the released date to the shipping date, the item is note yet released, we are relying on the manufacturer information, I've checked the website and the item is marked as "Not yet release"...blah blah blah.. All bullshiit from them. |
Re: Amazon?
Good luck getting it before christmas since you ordered in mid november...not eveyone who ordered in october received their shipments. I'm so tempted to just order via the phone with Nokia, at least that way, people reported no credit card problems.....if only i lived in the states

IF only the CS reps could write something like this:
Amazon Responds to Maxximuscool from NZ: Thank you for writing back to us at Amazon.com. I have reviewed our previous correspondence with you, and I offer my sincere apologies for any misunderstanding thus far. The information provided was our standard tagline that all customer service representatives must communicate while we manage our under stocking situation. We have been hit with the unfortunate situation of not having enough stock to fulfill all the pre-order that we have received at once. As such we have used the limited stock that we have been allocated so far to begin fulfilling the earliest pre-orders on a 'first come, first serve' basis dependent on geographical location and the stock within our local warehouses. We are currently dispatching orders for all people who ordered between 8 and 20 Oct, and will start dispatching November orders by 5 Dec. Since your order was received in Late November, I would expect it to be prepared for shipping by 15th Dec. We value your business greatly and hope that this precise information will provide you with the patience and resolve. be rest-assured, as soon as the chronological backlog of orders has been fulfilled, your order will be dispatched. We've appreciated your business and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future. To acknowledge the trouble this matter has caused you, I've issued a promotional certificate of $20.00 to your account, which can be applied towards future purchases on Amazon.com. I understand that no promotional certificate can actually compensate for the inconvenience. Please accept it as a goodwill gesture. The balance of promotional certificate funds can't be viewed in Your Account but it will be visible during the order process. They just send me an email as well. Hello, I understand your concern regarding your order #104-9641563-9xxxxxx. I see that you have qualified for $50 rebate. I see that the item, "Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone/Mobile Computer with 3.5-Inch Touchscreen, QWERTY, 5 MP Camera, Maemo Browser, 32 GB--U.S. Version with Full Warranty" has not yet released on Amazon.com. Once this item has been released and we receive copies, we will be able to ship it to you. It is not uncommon for there to be a delay of several weeks between the release and distribution of a new publication. When your order is shipped, you should receive an e-mail message confirming the date, contents, and method of your shipment. As per our standard policy, we do not charge you for items until they enter the shipping process, so you will not be charged for this item until it is available and we have shipped it to you. I see that your rebate form must be submitted by January 8, 2010. I still believe that you will receive "Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone/Mobile Computer with 3.5-Inch Touchscreen, QWERTY, 5 MP Camera, Maemo Browser, 32 GB--U.S. Version with Full Warranty" the end of December, 2009. I have also upgraded the shipping method to One-day shipping to make sure that your order reaches by the estimated delivery date. I hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing you. Hello,
Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this situation may have caused. It is certainly not our intention for our customer to have anything, but a pleasant experience at Amazon.com. We'll make sure to update our website listing when we know more. However, after checking our website I see that this item is available from one of our third party sellers. If you are in urgent need of this item, you may consider purchasing this item from them and may cancel this order. I did finally receive the shipping notice email from Amazon moments ago. Interestingly, when I track the package through Amazon's page it says "Shipment has left seller facility and is in transit" while UPS' tracking web site says just "Billing Information Received". I suspect that amazon changes that status in their application to make it seem as if the package has actually been picked up. |

Nokia, on the other hand, is making some quick gains by stealing customers from its retailers. This may help them in the short run (Q4 reports) but is a risky game to play in the long run (Amazon, Buy.com and others will not be delighted to work with them again). My guess is that Amazon cannot disclose the terms of their agreement with Nokia, but basically Nokia has them by the *****, and is squeezing real hard. |
Re: Amazon?
i got tired of waiting on my amazon order....switching to nokiausa...i guess their little game worked!
|
Re: Amazon?
I wish I could switch to Nokia USA, but they won't let me
|
Re: Amazon?
I cancel my amazon pre-order yesterday, now im waiting for Nokia USA, can somebody please tell me where can I track mi order???
Fxxx Amazon!!!!!! |
Re: Amazon?
Amazon pre-order from Nov 6th cancelled, I ordered from Nokia USA yesterday morning and it should arrive sometime today before 3pm according to FedEx!
Those of you who only have the option of Amazon, be happy, we're making the pre-order list shrink so your N900's will ship sooner :) |
