Good, that gives me some hope that I'll get my N900 this week. I'm in Texas and I chose express delivery option so if it ships from TN today, I should have it before the weekend.

I got the following email from amazon in response to questions about the $50 dollar rebate:

I do understand your concern regarding the $50 rebate for the Nokia N900.

I've researched for the rebate details and learned that it should be post marked by January 8, 2010.

So I got mine yesterday, and those bastards did not ship my blue tooth headset. I didnt care about the incompatibility, and now they are clueless about it.

On top of the 649 I paid. NO REBATE, NO CHEAPER PRICE. phuck amazon.

I was one of the few that reported it early on that their status changed and credit decreased on CC. I think someone mentioned me on the Amazon discussion board. haaha..

I say blah Thanksgiving week because my order shipped prior to that on the 25th and it should have been here last Friday, but no one worked Thursday because it was Thanksgiving day and most people take off Friday too. So... there ya have it.. Delayed until tomorrow.

It took mine about 5 days. It's never taken that long on any other amazon order I've ever had.

I just canceled my Amazon pre-order from 11/20, so there's another N900 available for someone else. Got impatient, and contacted Nokia USA and finally got my order to go through yesterday. A quick 24 hours later, the phone arrived via Fedex and is in my hand.

Have to say the N900 is awesome in my opinion. Good luck to those of you dealing with Amazon.

I have an amazon order and they sent me useless reply to my questions that didn't really answer my concerns. I ordered at the end of November hoping to get that 480 price on the n900, but I'm not sure I'm going to get it in time.

So I figured I'd jump on the 560 offer at NokiaUSA, but I just got boned trying to make and order. GRRRrrrr!

Bought mine from NokiaUSA on 11/27 and got it today 12/2 and I did regular shipping.

I stared at it for like 5 minutes wondering if I was going to rip it open or get over it and post it on Craigslist.

Life is too short. I ripped it open and am going through the "Get Started" video as we speak.....

Got my n900 today circa sep 18.
The FM xmitter is working nice. some noise floor.
Seems to couple to my mouse cable as an antenna nearby.
FWIW.....

dude, If I am impatient I would of go and fuccking kill you already. Not just sitting infront of my computer updating the thread. You're such a dick. There are alot of people did not get their shipping. But if you got yours then stop wining on this thread. Go to the N900 user impression thread. I am giving Amazon some time to get their arse moving. Since Nokia already labeled the device as Released then there should be no Pre-order button. Amazon still even slow on updating their web status, let a lone shipping orders out.

I'm hoping either sometime this week or the next 2 weeks, amazon will start shipping out the other half of the october batches and 1st half of the november orders..
