Honestly this is just insane.
I was so excited to get this new toy, then after all the delays I started debating whether or not to get ti. Then I preordered on Nov 6, then I started debating again if I should just cancel. Then today I was like screw it, I'm getting it, and the first guy I spoke to made my day, then my world came crashing down. This is too much to go through for a damn phone. |

Well, I just updated my Amazon account to an Amazon Prime account. I changed my shipping method from super saver shipping to 1 day shipping for 3.99, now it shows that my estimated delivery date to Dec. 7th.
I hope Amazon isn't playing mind games with me again... |

I refreshing my email and amazon order every 1minute. And I cannot sleep.. I keep waking up in the middle of the night and keep come back to refresh a few more time before going back to bed... I'm going CRAZY.....

Where did Amazon get all this stock from? Wasn't it earlier they said they ran out and wouldn't get another shipment for a while or was that just a distractor to relieve the heat on them?
That or Nokia redirected stock from their own stores to Amazon to avoid angering Amazon. |

Sorry i got this strange message when i was tracking my N900 via UPS i had the delivery date on 3 december now it changed to 4 december the status is exception and they state that the problem is incorrect street number but im sure i wrote the right address anyway does anyone knows how can i contact UPS to talk to them about the address please help me this is for my friend and he is traveling tomorow

OK, I cracked. After hearing the Amazon 'refined timings' I have placed an order with Nokia and the phone is on the way...I think the extra hundy will be worth the xmas playtime.

Just went to take a look at my order (11/24) and initially the shipping date was still stuck at "shipping after the 25th". I toyed with the idea of changing to 1 day shipping (w/ my free Prime trial), but after opening the edit shipping page opted not to. After returning to the order summary however my shipment has now shifted to an estimated deliver date of 12/7!
This seems to be in line with phase315's experience (looking back through posts it looks like their order was a few days before mine and now get the same date after actually changing shipping), so I wonder if those of us seeing the dreaded "after the 25th" line are seeing a generic cached page from Amazon, and modifying your order in anyway (or even just clicking the edit shipping button) is forcing a refresh on the main order page. Now the real question is if this new shipping date has any real implications, or if this is just another placeholder. |

w00t. Got an email, my 13/11 preorder will allegedly be shipped by the 8th, and will be in the safe hands of my US dropbox sometime after the 10th.
About bloody time too; by the end of the year Bongo will start charging me $5/day for storing the bloody iPod that Amazon helpfully shipped seperately (despite asking NOT to), and two weeks after that they'll probably invoke the clause allowing them to set fire to my goods and sell the charred remains on eBay. |
