No, we ordered on different dates. I ordered on the 20th, you ordered on the 23rd. I live in MD (according to him it's about a 9 hour drive from KY to MD) but that's because of the route you have to take (you can't go straight or you'll run into a mountain with no road).

I've had my N900 since Tuesday, shipped out Monday (at 10 PM) and arrived Tuesday around 3 PM.

But anyway like I said, it took them a while to actually ship my order even after charging my card (not till 10 PM at night! of Monday!)

They are really slow..

25 hours after "Shipping Soon". There is no signed of confirmation + tracking info from Amazon...

How disappointing :(

Per a previous post, I had the same thing happen to me with the delay approval...and just got back from the beach to find a confirmation email with tracking number!

Now I can finally stop reading this thread and get on with my (N900)life. I'd also like to point out that not once during the process did i whine and complain to Amazon, and still got the same treatment *ahem* louder complainers received. Let this be a lesson, the CSRs in Mumbai can't really help you.

btw 1 question since after i received my N900 i didnt follow up this thread had anyone receive a defected device from amazon ? i mean these mic problems or reboots etc.. ?

I think a few, mic problem can be fixed by reflash or reinstal firmware. That seemed to work on lots of people. Reboot problem may be a little i think, not sure who but a few had it as well.

:o I certainly wish that mine is not one of those. I want to keep my baby in my pocket when it get to NZ.:D I dont want to send it back

I'm having some issues ...
- lags and freezes while accessing email and some other windows

Haven't had a chance to look over bug logs and test in depth - I will test further this weekend.

Anyone else experience same?

Amazon have the N900 on the site again with an availability date of 12/16 with estimated delivery of 12/18. Price is still (US)$549.00.

Thank bro, I saw it too. It is back Amazon again. I got it cheaper though. 529.99 :D before rebate. It is leaving their facility now. On some Truck or Plane I think.

It depends on the shipping method you used. If you chose 1 day or 2-3 day shipping then i think by air. Both are very reliable. They dont have fedex or ups in NZ? IMO Fedex tends to be faster for resident delivery. most of the items i order on amazon (i use prime) shipped by UPS.

I saw some FedEx van driving around so i guessed we do have FedEx. But lets hope I get it before Xmas period. Hope there is no dead pixels.

Fedex does, UPS does not unless you pay them a very hefty saturday premium.

Doesn´t Amazon only ship UPS? If so it won´t be delivered today.

Don´t count on it until monday.

Saturday shipping is not included in the 1 day or 2 days. Saturday delivery is a extra cost on top of whatever shipping method you choose.

Wwell he also lives in New Zealand so it'll take a while to fly over to him depending on the shipping his brother-in-law choose (unless he had it shipped directly to NZ).

Unfortunately Amazon doesn't ship electronics overseas, which is why we're all having to use relatives or freight forwarding companies. If I had slightly more patience and common sense I would wait for my folks to bring an N900 with them when they head over in about a month, but I have neither so I'm paying another $40 for priority FedEx and another 12.5% on the value if it gets caught in customs.

My N85 is starting to look very sad...

got my nov 20th order with free shipping today. Need a bit more time before a full assessment but initial impression is pretty good. Keyboard is better than expected. Screen is awesome. I'm finding myself using the stylus more than I thought I would.

Actually I had contacted them but I just waited until it was back in stock to put the exchange in motion. My replacement should be shipped next week :)

My order is stuck with the UPS... what a crappy service lol.. they don't delivery on the weekend..They are one of the biggest they should have had the option of weekend delivery

Finally! Mine just reached my home a few minutes ago from US! I have been waiting for it since last thursday. Words can't describe my feeling right now. Can't remember when was the last time i felt so excited. The real excitement begins when i get home from work. Waiting for the clock to strike 6 now.

I got my N900 from NEWEGG. I ordered it on Wednesday (early morning, probably 4-5am) and it arrived via UPS Friday. WOW
