m3kyd - I ordered 10 October (a week before you), lowered price twice, and mine is sitting in "preparing for shipment" for the last two days. I guess it takes a long time to prepare.

Hey has anyone received any actual shipping confirmation too, with any tracking numbers .. ? If so, please post your pre-order date, the date when you got the 'Shipping Soon' message, and when you got the Shipping Confirmation email ..

My order has been on 'Shipping Soon' for about 36 hours now, and no Shipping Confirmation so far .. I pre-ordered on Oct 2nd ..

Maybe they still don't have it in warehouses..maybe they just thought they would start charging now and once it arrrives this weekend or Monday they would start shipping.

Just to add more info to the thread, I ordered September 17 and changed the price once. It's been listed as "Shipping Soon" for a couple days now, no confirmation or tracking numbers yet.

troll? lmao, im just posting it so if someone like me have problem ordering from NokiaUSA (Authorization failed, order canceled then you'll have to wait 4, 5 days b4 you can try again, if it failed again then you'll have to wait AGAIN) and other companies can just buy it from there and know for sure that they'll get theirs next week. Btw, it's not my ebay seller accounts. And take a look at the link, they all sold out. I guess there're ppl like me who can't stand at those problems and have more important stuffs and vacation coming up. Thus, we just go ahead and pay a lil more.

To whomever asked if I paid tax on the phone from nokiausa.com, yes I did. But I also had to pay tax ordering from Amazon (before I cancelled it of course)

6% sales tax to Kentucky. NokiaUSA.com has the phone for only $20 more than ordering it from Amazon. To me, I'm paying $20 extra bucks to get it this week instead of in 2010. :)

I got the "SHIPPING SOON" message on Thurs..then i got a tracking # on Friday with email. Estimate delivery date is Dec 1st because I used 2-day shipping method. If i used 1-day shipping method, it should be here Nov 30th. I pre-ordered on Sept 17, 2009 with price changed TWICE to the lowest of 529.99.

Same problem - ordered N900 from Nokia Online Store - authorization failed but $613.13 were gone from my debit card.
I called Nokia, they could not find the order.
after I finished with call, few minutes later i got email from Nokia with order cancelation. Strange. No phone and for the next 3-5 business days - 613.13
Thanks Nokia!

Re: Amazon?

Yeah, no matter how I phrase my questions, or how many times I link to images of people with processed orders, or this thread I invariably get the "The N900 is not showing up as in stock" email and coincidentally a "your recent amazon order entitles you to this free magazine subscription/mp3 downloads" email.

I think they are trying to play me off and placate me at the same time.

Ah I just want my damn phone lol and I"m in the same situation as Spinnukur, I had been told that it would not put be at the end of the line to reorder, so I did, but now I very obviously am at the second date.

I would not have reordered had I known that. OH well

Yeah I think the CSRs are in India and which ever you rephrase your question and ask many different questions, they will reply you the same thing, its like they are copy and paste their answer from some sort of Wordprocessing software. I suggest If we all email and ring them up then they might take some action toward the Item order and shipment.

Demand priority status on your orderer and keep bugging them till they do.

Re: Amazon?

My problem is that I can't even get them to admit that they've shipped anyone's, or processed any orders. So although I can say: "You told me that my place in line would be unaffected by my reordering, but clearly it has been affected as there is a line, and people who ordered after my initial order have received confirmation of shipping/processing, so I demand that I be given my original order position (even willing to lose order date/rebate from Nokia) or that I be given priority" they don't admit that anyone has been processed so my argument that they have obviously moved me to the end of the line is moot.

Spinnukur, any chance you could send me your Order #? I may give it one more shot and then just say F8ck it, but I already failed to convince them that it had been processed for other people. Maybe if they can look up your order they'll just give me whatever priority you have :P

This is my order number if you want it. According to the shipping tracker it's in Alaska already so its definitely out there somewhere.

Ah no worries Harbourlight! I have no order #s stored. Just had a picture of status being shipping soon. Everything else was temporary. Rest assured I have no need to know your friend's or your, or anyone elses address or order # other than to bludgeon Amazon's cust service with it.

Re: Amazon?

Curious that (almost) no one is receiving the N900 from Amazon before Sep. 30th. And you haven't heard of anyone with overnight shipping receiving a tracking number yet.

Mine is still 'shipping soon' since 11/25. I requested overnight shipping and contacted Amazon directly to get the status. Sales rep told me that it will definitely be shipped on Nov 30th.

So basicly, Amazon (aka Nokia) wants to keep the N900 out of Amazon-ordered people's hands until after the 30th. And they sent out these 'shipping soon' notices just to clam us up. Big surprise.

Odd, my order number is way higher 105-0999778-xxxxxxx but I ordered Sept 16th.

Maybe they also depend on location, I am in New England.
