I have a tracking number and I chose overnight. Looks like it's made it to the right town in one night, I think it might just be that the post office wont deliver on a Sunday so it won't actually arrive at the door until Monday the 30th.

I haven't gotten any email from them. If I view the order on the web it says:

"Shipment #1: Shipping Soon We are preparing these items for shipment and this portion of your order cannot be canceled or changed. Need information on returning an item?"

I don't recall it saying anything prior to this other than "not yet available" or "not released yet".

I ordered on Oct 10, amazon prime, 2-day shipping and had the price lowered twice.

Still no tracking number despite it being almost 72 hours since my order status switched to "Shipping Soon".

Delivery is to CT.

Perhaps the orders are shipping from different Amazon warehouses depending on delivery location hence why some people have had their N900's shipped while others haven't ???

It's simple...I linked them directly to specific topics within this forum, then on top of that I also linked them directly to the images of people who posted screenshots of their Amazon orders showing they were about to ship. Amazon couldn't deny any longer once they were seeing multiple screenshots showing they're shipping the phone.

I got fed up waiting. Canceled my amazon order of oct 17th and walked into the flagship store on 57th. getting it set up now... Only spent about 16 dollars more than via amazon.

Edit: well I suppose I could be wrong, but they are ACcepting the rebate for any of the named phones sold from Nov XX til whenever XX. Seems silly for them to not accept it from their own store.

Well I am boycotting their website, so I didn't know it didn't show up there.... but from looking at it it seems to have more to do with OVI than Nokia as a whole.... perusing it I see nothing about not accepting from Nokiausa.com

I think you're in the clear I just think they're not doing their duty to push the rebate.

Can you people also post how long it took in going from 'Shipping Soon' to 'Shipped' .. ?

My order has been in 'Shipping Soon' state for about 40 hours now, and I don't know if this is normal or not ..

No, hit back with another email. If they send you the automatic response you send them one back saying 'WTF, your reply to my complaint has no merit or validity to what I stated--seriously you guys need to stop acting like incompetent *****s and actually get this resolved. You're losing N900 pre-orders every day because you can't get your act together--I'm spending over $500 on a single item and in this economy...seriously guys this is not how someone spending over $500 should be treated nor should they ever be. Don't give me that standardized 'oh we're sorry for the delay if you wish to cancel' bs, because quite frankly, I've done allot of business with you guy's and if you want to lose a long time customer then just say so.'

The key is to make your wording very strong and to the point but not so far as to be construed as abusive or foul language. Always provide them links to our maemo forums and use stuff like, 'here's a link which proves you guys are shipping them out, and here's another link which proves you guys lied to me, time after time about their being no line for pre-orders,' Never let down, just keep replying to their emails. Most of their emails when they reply have a Yes and No, Did I resolve your issue link. Clicking on the no takes you to a screen on Amazon where you can type in stuff.

The key is always giving them grief and always responding with negative emails back when they didn't resolve your issue, makes you a thorn in their side and will force them to not ignore you and give you any type of BS again. Just be persistent and remember once you get what you want, reinforce that positive action with a huge 'thank you for your help--you're the only person who has been willing to help me out without being a completely incompetent ***** who doesn't know anything about customer service...again thank you for your help and it's because of you that I'll continue my future business with Amazon.' Basically just BS the person back when you get what you want.

Mine shipped from Kentucky too. Looks like that's one of the active warehouses. Anyone else had their n900 already shipped from somewhere else?

And mine changed to shipping soon and charged my credit card on the 26th and then posted early on the 27th.

This is the only thing surprising to me. I'd have expected super savers to go out dead last, as they usually do.
