The N900 and its Killer Feature
What do you guys think, do you agree with this?

Re: The N900 and its Killer Feature
I am inclined to agree, if only because most web developers who are worth their salt can pick up python and be fairly proficient in it within a few weeks, and let's be honest, there's a hell of a lot of web developers out here...

Re: The N900 and its Killer Feature
Python can't be a killer feature because even Android could host Python if they added it.
The fact that you can have Python, or Ruby, or Erlang/Haskell/Lisp, or your own custom language on the phone with full access to a standard Linux userspace that doesn't require battling the hardware or software to get there is the killer feature. |
Re: The N900 and its Killer Feature
Speaking of web developers, how many mobile devices can run a browser with add-on capability?
http://missmobile.wordpress.com/2009...ay-go-add-ons/ It seems to me that this is another easy entry point into Maemo development and increasing functionality. |

as for the importance of python, just observe the number of things people have made on the older devices using python... |
