Chris, you have perfect timing!

See, by his post count, you would also think that Chris is a "senior member"...

(you all know where this is going :D:D:D:D:D:D:D)

as far as I'm concerned, I am a senior member. Been giving advanced support for smartphones online for 4 years. I'm new to you guys, but not the mobiles community. But few people here venture far from Maemo.

I'm a G. Jay you ain't know about me? ;P

I always try to carry myself as a senior member, and remember my actions reflect upon Maemo and Nokia. I want Maemo to succeed. With cooperation it can.

And that's my whole point.

This thread was way off-topic before I even got here.

Yeah well you didn't do much to try and get it back on topic either, did you, even though you could see people were trying.

Well one good point, found a thread (thanks Kathy) where the good ideas from this are being discussed by people that actually want to contribute, not just vent a bit of "small guy, big pond" attitude at other completely uninterested people.

Oh sorry please don't miscontrued that as being rude ;)

Dave Dickson is also a name well known in the mobile space. I wish everyone knew the major players in the game and treated them as such. We shouldn't have to earn respect. It should be given and received by default, regardless who we are.

I back everything you've said 100%, Dave. I'm ready to abandon ship if things don't improve with everyone's attitude. Even Ray Charles can see there's a problem. How long will w be in denial?

I have done download pages and guides before, and can do them on MF. But why do double work? We don't need a comittee to do it, just effort from anyone asked. It would cut down on all the time wasted answering the same question over and over.

BTW, how do you make screenshot without the yellow bar? I'm using Load Applet. Is there another tool?

If this thread keeps going on as it has, I'm gonna lose my senior member cool.

I'm not wrong, I'm just different.

Jay, I usually get a kick out of you, but enough is enough.

And don't twist one of my catch phrases like I'm in violation of one. I know very well you get the original meaning and how it doesn't apply to a post war.

Check you have the most up to date version of pc suite. The week before last's is too old.

It can be a bit clunky at first, but it does work.
