Re: N900 Issues: For Potential Buyers
i love the n900 for some of its abilities that iphones do not offer
i.e. great multitasking, watching xvid vids and stuff on multiple formats and most importantly to me, hardware keyboard. but stupid dumbass moves by Nokia has pissed off many to the extend I actively discourage ppl from buying Nokia now if ppl ask me for a recommendation because I do not want my friends screwed over. This is a pure case of Dilbertism. Nokia has become the bloody pointy haired boss and many posters here who were once fans feel like dilbert. |
Re: N900 Issues: For Potential Buyers
@gary
The only thing that disturbs me in this thread is that it's not an objective thread but a A vs B compariso-bashing thread. As for 3GS I already regretted far too much with the 3G, so thanks but NO THANKS!. As much as I tried, the lack of functionality and cheap build quality outweigh any advantage it could have. @Frappachino This behavior is somewhat unmet on most flash 10 pages and there's only one android with flash 10 available. IMHO this is as relevant as "swiping is sometimes slow". Also why would you listen to a radio station with the browser instead of the music player? It's not only the battery issue but why would you shoot a pig with a cannon when you have a gun? just to make a point? :/ |
Re: N900 Issues: For Potential Buyers
Complaining about flash 10 is pointless. Unless you are comparing the n900 to the nexus one. No other device has flash 10

Re: N900 Issues: For Potential Buyers
why are people repeating that flash 10 is not coming?!
there was a recent chat with a rep. of nokia sweden that makes clear that there is no reason to give up hope on the matter: "Andrew: Hey, what about flash 10.x on an N900. Will there be the ability to run Flash 10.x on N900? If yes, when can you expect it? Nokia: Hi, There have been many who ask it and I have had some email. In the current situation we can not answer that but we will return. Sincerely, Klas " |
Re: N900 Issues: For Potential Buyers
are u fraking kidding ? has fanboyism taken over your mind ?
that is a webpage i lost access to its is a demostration of how flash upgrade will hit n900 users when the majority of sites move not every website is like youtubre who will support every standard because doing so cost $$$ when adobe release flash 10 for most systems except for maemo (they have indicated in articles most mobile oses will get it and maemo was NOT listed ) sites will just wack on an implementation like the above because they cant be bothered totest and cater for users stuck on flash 9.4 thats when m5 users get shafted that time is not now yet but it WILL come and that site i quoted is just a prelude of things to come whether its a bloody rdio stsaion or not has no relevance to the ddiscussion i swear nokia fanboyism is a disease bad as iphone fanboyism. as for why ppl its not coming whenevetr ppl have asked about n900 stuff and nokia says no comment it usually has not come i.e. meego ovi and others when nokia is releaing something for n900 like qt it makes sure veryone knows it also i trust quole much more then the interview and this pattern fits with nokias past behvior |
