And if there would be any solution to flash or whatever, you would know it. as well, it's your f'ing problem that you are lazy to read. do you want people to feed you from spoon or what?

Here's a list of my gripes:

The N900, when in portrait mode, is upside down.

And dust gets into the speaker hole too easily.

Errrrrm............

Oh and the kickstand is in the wrong place, cos when you tap the top right of the screen the phone rocks back rather worryingly.
It's pretty scary when you're perched high up on a 4 inch wide ledge in the Andes.

the last problem i have..the scrolling and the framerate. fix that and this phone is PERFECT!!

The only time I get that is after some heavy use or when one of the widgets, Personal Dataplan Monitor being the main culprit, updates itself. But I believe it could also be down to the theme you're using.

I already started a thread trying to set out all the issues with the N900. Was meant to be a sort of buyers' guide or buyers' beware. Despite doing it with good intentions some fanboys attacked me as a troll. Sort of gave up because I found that kind of discouraging and secondly cause my N900 succumbed to the usb port issue and so has been gone for a while.

You can update the issues there. And add any you have, etc. Some of the issues listed in the first post may have been fixed with PR 1.2 but as I have no N900 for now I do not know. Of course PR 1.2 appears to have introduced some new issues which are not listed in the post.

This is a popcorn fanboy eating thread ha ha dont expect anything good to happen here not with the fanism we got on this community.

Gripe away but wont get Nokia moving now as the N900 is dead and buried as far as they are concerned so if you want to do something then fix all the issues yourself... best way.

the main issue (if you can say so) i'm having right now is that every other major nokia phone (like x6 or n97/mini) is being sold with car-kit and free voice-turn-by-turn navigation here in germany.

its just the n900 thats being skipped with that. i guess its because of sygics navigation, but i still want to nokia maps to support voiced turn-by-turn.

no say callers name or different ringtones

you can download espeak caller, it does that (it works most of the time)

n95 has better camera quality *in my opinion*

i hope you arent serious..


and speaker sound is ****ing low when i turn it on during calls and
why switch the screen off when its on loud speaker?

never had an issue with volume..


and app manager refreshing is waay to effin slow

true!
a real blunder is the positioning of the headphone jack, it gets in the way of the keyboard..
