I don't think Nokia fully understands how much of an impact this has had on it's customers.

Wish mine was that easy, all 5 transaction methods I used which Nokia said it was "denied" my bank stated "Nope, nothing on our end the charge has been approved by our end without any issues".

My guess is they have a screw up in the new system act codes which are used to communicate with the banks. I have programmed in the past for this kind of stuff plus I know a ex McSports person who did the same thing. Needless to say it's easy to screw up ordering systems.

And you know, the way capitalism works is by not buying the products... Nokia pissed you and a million other customers off? The simple solution is to not buy Nokia products again and let the market sort things out.

Good luck with your lawsuit.

I have actually already stated this in a previous thread and I am not personally going to purchase another Nokia product no matter how "jesus phone" it may be. This issue has left a very bad taste in my mouth, one of which I will not repeat.

Honestly, I love Nokia's phones, but I hate their sales department.

Exactly! I love the N900 and I do not want any other device. So simply not buying from Nokia is not a way for me to get back at them. (By the way, I am upset at Nokia for shipping N900 devices to users who ordered after me. See here for an explanation:
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=871 )

So, the best way for me to get back at them, if I wanted to, is not by not buying from them, but by ensuring that they do not profit as much as they could have had they been nice. ;)

Re: Class Action Lawsuit against Nokia Online Sale Management

I pre-ordered mine back in Aug or Sept not sure I may have some documenation somewhere they told me it would be the end of the month. This was to include a "free headset" and "free" overnight shipping. With the pre order then I was put off over and over again for a delivery time line. At the beginnning of Nov. Nokia called and said that the headset was not compatible with the device and would I like to cancel this order and reorder. I said sure and they told me it would be delivered mid Nov. They did not tell me at this time that there would be a 9.99 delivery charge. Nice little scam!. After getting told that they could not give me a delivery date. I was a little upset and tried to contact a manager which was denied. I contacted Finlands office via email. They said that they did not have any control over the US office but suggest that I re-contact them again. I named dropped a name of Finlands Office and got the device Wed of last week. What a pain!

Um $9.99 x 50,000 = $499,500 what happened to the free shipping for the pre-order? Nice lil scam. I would like my $9.99 back and a large reinbursment for emoitional distress, time spent on follow ups and anything else I can thank of!
