FM Radio app
It crashed, thereby it does not give audio. how can i kill it?
Anyone else problems with this? r0eladn |
Re: FM Radio app
I couldn't get it to work either, but I haven't put any serious time into investigating yet. However, click the power button to pop up the phone's menu, select 'End Current Task' (that's from memory - the actual wording may be different).

Re: FM Radio app
i couldnt end it. it remained open when i removed the app. justgoing to reboot.
thanks =) |
Re: FM Radio app
What about opening xterminal, get root access, look for the pid and kill it?
|
Re: FM Radio app
Well for starters, that's a lot more complicated than 'Click power button, click "End Current Task"', and secondly the FM radio app (at least on my system) goes completely full screen so there's no task switching widget visible. I couldn't find any way to switch away from it other than by killing it.

Re: FM Radio app
ctrl-backspace?
or ctrl-shift-x to bring terminal and then kill. |
Re: FM Radio app
try removing the mozilla repository from app catalogs.

Re: FM Radio app
Of course; there's a known conflict with Fennec/Firefox isn't there? Forgot about that.
That said; the "End Current Task" option on the power button menu is still easier :p |

often it enables bluetooth out of the...blue too. |
Re: FM Radio app
The bluetooth enabling is actually not a bug, though it is a little odd. The FM receiver is on the same chip as the bluetooth and you can't turn the FM on without getting bluetooth too. Apparently.

Re: FM Radio app
It's also odd because you can't use bluetooth and the fm transmitter @ the same time (based on a report from here).
