I checked the Whitlow's website. It appears to be fine for people under 21, thankfully. (I probably should've done this before posting, and I apologize for that) If that's still fine with everyone, I wouldn't recommend changing the plans.

If the gathering's just going to consist of tablet owners gathering to talk, I think that this place would be suitable.

Throwing it out there: How about arrival at 2PM? It gets dark so early these days, I figure the earlier the better.

I think around 3pm works fine, its late enough in the afternoon that those of us with obligations in the a.m. can take care of those and not rush over, and it's late enough to have a pint or two and not be a lush...

I'm planning on going (so far). Though I have to move my sister into Maryland so that might delay me a bit..

Again, I'm game whenever. Looks like this thread has been trying to schedule this meet up since at least early December. At this rate, I don't think we' re ever going to get a total consensus.

Best to just throw out a date and stick to it. If there's not a huge turn out, we can always do a second meet up again in the Spring.

Well the following Saturday (30th) should work for me too. It's just this weekend is out due to a combination of me helping my sister move back into her dorm and me being sick (wouldn't want to get you guys sick).

DOH! I'm at Marten's VW now...prob can't make it next week.

FWIW...I'm getting 800Kb down and 700Kb up on the "web2go" plan. Funny thing is my plan changed today, after submitting for a change a few weeks ago ($59.99 500/min'unlim. txt/web), and even though I was able to get an IP, I couldn't get to any sites. I was promted to "upgrade", but the page did not fully load. The only option was the "web2go", for "$0.00/mo."...guess it just needed to finalize the changes so to speak, as I went "off" the "smartphone plan, since I'm still on AT&T.

I was trying originally but due to graduate school starting back up again I'm no longer attempting it.

Graduate School + Work = not that much free time. =(
