i agree totally about that most ppls that have Problems will post in here actually.

I would like to know more internal Information from The Maemo Developers Team about the agreements with Nokia. How they share the objectives between Nokia and the Community here.

For Example is Bugfixing a Part of Nokia or will the SW Bugfixes come from the Community over Nokia Updateservice to us?

Else the Bugtracker dont make sense in my opinion.

Bugzilla on maemo.org does go to Nokia when appropriate. For example, I have been following the random reboot bug:

https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6334

Eero Tamminen of Nokia seems to be assigned to follow this particular bug and has posted a number of comments regarding particular issues that have been identified as well as requests for additional information.

And all the fanboys should note that Nokia feels there are real bugs in the software as well as, potentially, the hardware.

Mine is perfect, and wonderful. Not a problem in sight. If you get it, and it has an issue, get it replaced. But the only people you hear from are the ones with problems, the much larger number of people with no issues are quiet

This is purely anecdotal, but I've surely seen over a hundred different N900's, and none of them have had dead pixels. I'm sure it can happen, but i don't think it happens any more than with any other screen on any other device.
