Could the avatar.png I copied to "/usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/html/" be messing this up? If so can you tell me the command to delete it?

mhm... try to place a picture named "avatar.png" with 64 * 64 pixels in the html-folder...
maybe your own messages won't show up because this image is missing...

This is odd. I tried to delete the avatar and it said it could not be found. Copied all contents over and I have the 9 files and an avatar.png file in there?

yep, really strange.

mhm... i tried to remove the avatar.png... even if i've done this the messages are shown correctly...

so.... mhm.. what have you done and what are the problems?

Copied avatar.png to the html folder first. Then copied all contents of a folder named sms (your files unzipped were placed in there) to the html folder.

I don't understand why I cant delete the avatar. I have since copied everything back over in mass storage mode so I can examine it and its sitting right there.

how did you copy the files from the sms to the html folder? via x-term? please post your exact steps.

mhm... oh damn... it's half past 12 am here in germany... my brain is in bed already... i've forgotten to include the html-file in my zip-archive... that could be the point why your messages won't show up, sorry... try to copy all of the files in the attached zip-file to the html folder.
