If u haven't then first, do

Then do

if u had already modified your conversations before, there is no point in taking backup. So you can skip to step two.

I have the EXACT problem and am also looking for a fix. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

the problem is in the css, bubleother has a margin-left:70px when it should be 0px

anyway, here is the fixed css

Thanks very much for the update but now i have some new issues. now my own avatar won't show up, i tried both avatar.png and Avatar.png... what do i do now?

Yeah I have noticed that. Just something that happens due to the space limitations of the screen. You could probably solve it using a smaller font but I just figured its not much of a problem and It doesnt bother me too much.

Just gotta think, is it worth using a smaller font to fix the problem?

EDIT:
updated the js-file with the scroll-fix which will prevent the conversation view starting from the top. now it will be down at the bottom of the conversation showing the latest messages. :)

Did u try to run the script 'Conversation Portrait Mode' mentioned in my signature below? It should probably work. Can u please check and reply?

finally...i got it working, remembering that it has to be character specific.


just changing the .jpg to .png on your device is not going to work. because it is actaully doing the following:

original: pix.jpg
new: pix.png.jpg


you have to adjust the pic on your pc. i used gimp to save the file as "avatar" in the png format.


then transfer the file to the


/usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/html


folder. then it should work.


i used 64x64 .png file.
