nokia n900 - cold shower after first power on :S
 

I have bought these Nokia N900 model and immediately I wanted to turn it on,
there it was - one big, fat disappointment.

Here is the whole story what I did, when I received brand new package:
- I took the phone from the box,
- I insert the battery and the phone,
- I tried to turn the phone ON.

But, there it is, what it has happend:
- The system tried Tues upload, but unsuccessfully, unfortunately.

The Slider is running left and right for 20 seconds and than, the whole thing stops!
The system is blocked and dead.

My question is:
Is there any option for me at all, to fix this very sad situation, with some kind of operating system?
or:
Is the best way to pack the phone and turn the whole thing back?

I can't seem to understand half of what you typed, but...

Have you considered that the battery might be fully discharged?

I have charge the battery approximately 10 hours, I think that there should be full.

I bought it from a local dealer with the phones, i never had any problems with previous phones.

did your device freeze to the 5 balloons -screen?

you can always reflash your device. either with NSU or flasher.

e: or go ahead and get yourself new device if DOA returns are available (I see no reason why those wouldn't be..)

Yes, my n900 freeze to the 5 balloons on screen.

While it is charging, the LED in the lower left corner brightens and dims continuously in an amber color. When the battery is full, an LED at the same location is steady green.

If the above is not happening, the battery is probably not getting charged.
