This DC-11 has successfully charged my E71, my N810, my wife's N95, and had juice fo keep the N810 running MaemoMapper and GPS for quite a long time as I went for a long bike ride. Not all one one charge, obviously... I'd say the DC-11 is not compatible with the N900, despite the theoretical match. |
Re: External Battery Packs
What have we to do for the N900?
Shorten the Data Pins or a Resistor between? Put them to +5V or to Ground? Anybody knows? |

Re: External Battery Packs
-The key to fixing all of this is starting the charge and than connecting the N900.
For example press the charge button on the Nokia DC-11 and than connect it to the N900. Works on mine. -I also noticed that the N900 won't charge with some chargers when the battery is completely empty...so dont let it completely drain. |

Re: External Battery Packs
No joy with my Socket Mobile Power Pack. +5V DC@1.8A, 7200 mAh.
----- New information ---- Joy! Using the slowly inserting the USB cable trick, I am now able to charge my N900 using my Socket Mobile Power Pack. The trick is to connect the cable to the battery first, then slowly plug the micro USB plug into the N900. |
