How to use standard GSM star/hash (*#) codes on N900?
Basically I can't even check my balance with *100#, it's says Incorrect Number. Read here about GSM codes (follow to External links).

is there any solution to it as yet? i am facing the same problem i cant even dial *100# to check my credit balance... ? help any one ?

No easy solution so far. There's a beginning of a solution in a comment of the bugzilla entry, but nothing really useful. We should really wait for the next firmware upgrade. No, it has not been announced yet, and no, its release time is still unknown (when it's ready).

Sounds like it's easily doable via D-Bus as long as the phone app doesn't support it. I'll try building a quick UI for balance queries.

Bug not shown as Fixed yet so doubt it'll be in the next coming update.
