Yup :) It should work in next release ( when i add sms support ). It should also work in current, but there's sth wrong with pre-install, post-install scripts added to .deb.

i REALLY hope you can get this to work......would we even get a notification of a blocked sms? some numbers i just dont wanna even know they are trying to sms me...

i have pr1.3,i installed catblock but dpkg keeps popping error messages whenever i try to install any new apps

Hey Ouna-

Nice project! If you are looking for feature requests (if you're not, just press DEL :-) I reckon a white-list would be great. The idea is that on some occasions, I only want to hear (call or sms) from one or two really important people. At those times, I'd add the one or two people to the white list, and everyone else would be rejected.

Of course, I can't code to save my life, so all I have is an idea :-)

Hey ouna-,

Your software works great thanks. But I have one problem: I cant seem to delete any entry from my blacklist. It tells me "Blacklist seems to be empty ..." everytime i try to delete an entry. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled the program, but my blacklist was still there and I still was not able to delete any entry from it. Thanks

P/S: Is there any way to block unknown numbers? When using the python callblocker software for the n900 that was released sometime ago, I figured out how to block unknown numbers. I did this by putting these entries in my blacklist " " (a space), "Unknown number", "Unknown Number". I put all 3 entries and it seemed to block uknown numbers. I am sure it is most likely the " " (space) entry that works, but I was too lazy to figure out which of them worked :o. Thanks again and hope this helps in some way
