Plugin: Haze and Msn

Hi guys yesterday I installed Msn protocol Plugin for Maemo 5 . Now I want to remove old Haze Plugin but i don't find it in the package manager. The question is: How can I see the applications installed in X-Terminal? Please help me i think i can remove it with apt-get remove "package" . It doesn't work with apt-get remove haze

Thank you

Re: Plugin: Haze and Msn

Code:

dpkg -l *haze*
will list the packages (account-plugin-haze and telepathy-haze).

You have to install msn plugin from extra-devel repo . Then you can add msn account and use it with skype, google talk and other in your Conversation tab. That's all!

Have you ppl tried to use msn gateway in jabber? Works perfectly and you can see your msn contacts very nicely :) It takes some time to do that, but after that it works like charm.

Dark - be very very very careful when delving into the extras-testing and especially the extras-development repositories...
If something goes wrong it can easily damage your device. I would strongly recommend waiting for applications to get at least into testing if not, extras, before trying software.

A walk-through may help you install it, but will not help you fix a broken device :(

Ok, since I'm not THAT skilled with this, I'll wait.
I installed pidgin today and worked fine with msn but I can't get my yahoo IM connected. But I'll wait
Thanks

:) - i'm in the same boat as you - love to try it - so i pick the odd few from testing. - take a look in the repositories :) - if an application has been voted well - then you can almost assume it will be safe :) (8+ I'd say is a good start!)

There is also no problem with you testing and posting bugs if you really have found a bug.

First search these forums for a similar issue. If none has been found - search the bugs pages. If again none has been found - create a new bug, and link to it in here :)

Hopefully someone will be able to help you :)
