I agree. No KB is compelling for a few reasons to the makers:

1. Less parts and design issues to consider
2. Less things to fail
3. A lot of consumers think KB-free is "cool and sleek" looking- Just look at the Nexus as an example.
4. A secondary thing is less traffic for game emulators to bother with legal issues. This one is a stretch, but worth considering. Touch screen old school emulators suck for playability.

The trend is heading to KBless devices. Unless sales begin to lag, expect the trend to continue.

If I were the Overlord of the earth, I would ban KB-free devices, or at least make an add-on possible. Designers would walk the plank if not;)

DSP would mainly be leveraged for video, so could have use for a PS1 emulator, but that would mean more space taken up;)

I prefer the ripped ones (no video or music), since less space taken up.

any games that have encoded audio which can be offloaded to the dsp would benefit too. ATM vorbis doesn't use the dsp but that could change soon.
