thanks i much prefer this menu to the stock one.

A few mods needed for categories: maep should be in gps, Location Test in gps, irssi in network, Transmission in network, Tuner in multimedia

Is it possible to make a "non Development" version? You can change this into "Tools".

Not everybody is a developer, which will lead the Development folder into "an empty folder which will stay empty for ever"...

Tools is very handy for apps like File browsers etc.

Is it also possible to place the following apps in the right place?

VGB - Games
DrNokSnes - Games
MaemoFTP - Network
Mussorgsky - Tools
emelFM2 - Tools
Mirror - Tools
NS Schedule - Tools

How about to add a new language (Dutch version)?
The things that needs translations are:

Network = Netwerk
Other = Overige
System = Systeem
lean&science = Educatie
Office = Kantoor
Tools = Gereedschappen
Graphics = Grafisch

I hope this is possible! :)

at the moment it is hardcoded in mymenu - but for the future - yes send me the patch, maybe i can use it

You're going to want to use that so you don't have to move all these by hand. All the apps are already categorized by their control file, so using that information would make the most sense. If it's fully automated, you don't have to deal with separate cases of developer and non because only if development tools are installed would the Development menu have something in it.
