The widget only displays the article count rather than the content as shown in the attached screenshot. Is that expected behaviour?

Yes - the widget only shows a count of new articles in each feed.

Cheers. Are there any plans of displaying headers of rss feeds in the widget?

It will most likely be given as an option one day, but probably not in the very short term, a few other things have priorities (unless someone else feels like taking this on).

hi slocan i have noticed that between updates articles which i have previously read get marked as unread. is this a known issue? its not a consistent problem but it appears to happen pretty often.

It usually means the article was updated in the feed, but it's possible a bug exists.

This app is starting to be perfect. Couple of minor UX ideas:

- Feeds feed -list as normal list same way like the main list is now. The "button -style" list doesn't look so good... If it is trying to save some space, it is not worth it ;)
- Add bottom bar with "update feeds" and "mark all read" -icons (both main list and feed list). Digging them under the top menu takes allways 1 extra tap...
-> In main list the "Add new feed" and "manage subscriptions" could also be brought to bottom bar as icons.

I understand that bottom bar takes 1 row from the list. But i think it is more transparent to the user (what I can see I can do). And more userfriendly with often repeated actions, like "mark all read".

First I want to say thank you very much for the great app! I'm starting to use it all the time, very slick.

I am experiencing the issue that's already been pointed out about items being marked as new again after being read, but it seems to only happen for one or two feeds. For instance it has yet to happen with Slashdot, so it must be tied to the way those feeds are served.

I have added several cartoon feeds like Dilbert, and while they do work properly I find the image size a bit small for my aging eyes :( :D.Is there any way to enlarge the images, hopefully manually, rather that having to open them in the browser? That kinda defeats the purpose of having them in a newsreader in the first place .

Keep up the much appreciated work.

you're aware of the comic-widget? you can resize the comics to fit the whole desktop.
