having trouble getting this to work :(

attached my effort to add secure device to menu. added icon as per original dscobst post and added secure device info at bottom from original systemui.xml file on phone (backed up before changing).
unfortunately does nothing ? presumed copy paste from original nokia file would work (added icon info as per other menu items) but doesnt...

could any kind soul point me to where i have gone wrong ?

moepda I'm sorry I haven't the time right this second to do it for you but look back a bit, I posted a systemui.xml for someone and that version worked, so you can either use that one or open each side by side and compare/fix accordingly, if not I can give you a hand tomorrow.

If they're exactly the same try the usual suspects for fixing stuff... change themes, change back, reboot ;)

Hi, I have a problem I put a picture of lockslider.png. In / opt / usr / share / themes / alpha / backgrounds and each time you reboot the phone again which had by default. You can tell me why?

/ect/systemui/ folder and select the systemui.xml file
* make a copy of that file, just in case that you do something wrong, so that you can simply restore its original version anytime
* tap the 4 Edit button (at the bottom) to open the text editor
* at the bottom of the file you will notice that part of it (consisting of three ... entries) is disabled within the "comment" marks (starting ).
* move the "comment" marks mentioned above "<!--" (e.g. by deleting and re-typing them in other place) so that the two remaining entries ("Soft poweroff" and "Top in XTerm") are still within them but the "Reboot" entry gets outside of them
* tap 10 Quit button at the bottom of the editor and confirm in the requester that you want to save the file (if you don't see the 10 Quit button you may need to change the X-Terminal font size to 10)
* exit Midnight Commander, close X-Terminal and reboot the device
* after the N900 reboots, you should see the new "Reboot" option [/QUOTE]

Thank you all help me is being very helpful, whenever I get a bug fix it later. It turns out that I'm doing a theme from 0. And now I have a problem as much as the app_install_background eh and ApplicationManager and every time I run the default background appears after a few seconds mine. As if it were stored in cache. Where I can fix this bug? And sorry for my English, I'm Spanish and I use google translator.

Do you have maenotify installed? It has its own background (which is normally the one you were using when you installed the app). So each time you reboot it goes back to old background. If you want to use the app and not have this issue you need to go into the maenotify folder and replace the background image there as well.

Maemonoify turns out that if I have installed, but I get the unlock. to q is that?
