To change it to ur prefered word open the callui.xml and where it says name, put ur different name there, but so that it lines up with the rest make sure u leave the same amount of space after it
so if ur word takes 5 more letters than the word phone, delete 5 empty spaces. Im sure u know what im on about, same applies for all the rest too, in the sysui

this just contains the two extra icons and the sysiu and callui, yo still have to pick up the rest in the other zip if anyone else wants to use these. mikey

The systemui is a txt file... Please can you advise how to change this to .xml of upload the .xml file?

Thanks in advance

You need to copy these two clear png's into the same images folder you put the others into.

You can use my recently released Font Changer application to change fonts easily. It's currently available @ extras-testing.

Just run the font changer tool again, select a font you want and tick the autoreboot -option on. When your phone boots up, you have new font all over (there are still some places which cannot be changed with basic theming though since Nokia hardcoded some fonts to be Nokia Sans).

Color chaning is more complicated, but will keep that in mind for the future.

i have done all of the above & it is still stuck in +1 size font, i cannot seem to get it smaller again. i have managed to change the colour of my menu fonts & clock area & few other fonts to different colours manually by editing the gtk2.0 & css files in the themes folder is there no wat this way can be incorperated in to the font changer app?

What theme are you using?
Also, have you already upgraded the font changer to the latest version?
If you still have 0.7 installed, follow these instructions:
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...0&postcount=62

You can get the original font definitions back by reinstalling the theme you're using. If you're using Digital Life or NSeries, they can be re-installed by running following commands @ xterm:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install --reinstall hildon-theme-alpha
apt-get install --reinstall hildon-theme-beta

Also if you have modded the original gtkrc -file, it also might prevent font changer util to work.

Yeah as D-livil has said... the font changer will do the trick.

However at the time I was using black plastic theme setup which gives you the same option.

Wrong thread, but that error has nothing to do with font changer.

Try running these in terminal:
apt-get clean
apt-get update
apt-get install font-changer

When I get a new IM on the notification icon and the yellow box that shows up in multi tasking it says sms. I am not sure if this has always been the case or if I in my customisations I have mistakenly replaced an IM hildon icon with an sms one.

If it shoud say IM can someone tell me the name of the file and which hildon hicolor folder it goes in (presumably 48x48).

modified wmDialog 'bar'

2 Attachment(s)
I've modified the Dialog bar. This is the bar above the dialogscreen you see when, for instance you look at the details of some file in the filemanager.
The original files are I believe 112x56 pix.
The 2 files I made are 800x56

The names of the files are wmDialog.png and wmDialogCenter.png.
The last one you'll only see In the dialogscreen where there's asked for your pincode when starting up and the otherone you see in all the other dialogscreens.
You have to put the files in usr/share/themes/yourtheme/images

I think it works something like this:
N900 "builds up" the dialogbar by taking the wmDialog.png's and repeat those to the width of 800.
So if the width of the .png file is already 800, it does'nt have to be repeated.

edit: This also counts for ToolbarPrimaryBackground.png and ToolbarSecondaryBackground.png. Those are for the basictoolbar you see at the bottom of the screen in apps like the browser, pdf reader, notes etc

It's nothing special, its just that it allows you to add a little variation.

I hope all my BlaBla makes any sence.

I'm pretty sure those icons are wmButtonLeftHalf.png and wmButtonRightHalf.png (also the pressed versions of each).

Make sure you've swapped those for transparent versions, I've attached them in case you've not got them, they go in the images folder of the current theme you're using,

Kind Regards,

I've attached 3 modded ToolbarPrimaryBackground.png's.
One grey (see screenshot), a purple version and a white one.

The ToolbarSecondaryBackground pops up for instance when you push CTRL F in the standard browser.
Rename one of the attached files to ToolbarSecondaryBackground.png
