Thanks to dscobsct I have modified my power key dropdown menu as shown in the screenshot below.

But I would like to know how I can make the text of System monitor,Settings,App Manager ,Process Monitor centred (like in the middle of the box.. does not matter if it has no icon. I just want the text to be centred not aligned to the left like it shows in the pic.)

See how Reboot and switch off are aligned in the centre just like that way.

Is it possible.. I have also attached my systemui.xml if someone can make the changes and give or if they can tell me how to do it..

i have a quistion

i use Live Wallpaper / Xscreensaver / Distort (with your one background) but everytime i reload its self with a really ugly background (squars off black an grey) is there anny way to delete this, or replace it with my one photo? Thanks

hello,
some other files for the dialogbar. I've named them all wmDialogCenterxx, so dont forget to rename the file to wmDialogCenter.png before copying to:
usr/share/themes/YOURTHEME/images

I made them mostly for the "pincode" dialogscreen you see at start-up, but you can also rename the file to wmDialog.png, and copy to the same location

Hi guys / Girls.

Ive been looking for a nice and simple way to change the "menu" button (The button in the upper left corner), with my own image. (in this case the Alienware head logo).

And I just can't figure out how to do it.
So could anyone post some kind of guide on how to do that, or point me to a thread with a guide.

Edit: I just had an awesome idea, picture the alienware head logo, when you have a new msg or missed a call, the head will have a red(or any color) shiny puls effect to indicate an unread msg or missed call. If you catch my drift. Is that even possible?

@futtawuh It can be done and quite easily, still got a few things I need to do but I'll probably get a chance early next week sometime if you need a hand.

If you follow the guide kindly linked to by Parlapipas (ever the gent!) just make sure each of the five icons is 112x56 and overwrite those in the images folder of your current theme- which can vary from theme to theme.

@Dousan I haven't forgotten you mate, just finishing off the set- I realised there are quite a few icons that I hadn't yet done (because I don't really use email except via mb). Anyway once I'm finished I'll sort a .deb* for you,

Ok, I now know how to install the new button icon. So thanks for the ling and Lee for the guide. :)
But theres one thing i cant figure out. If id like to use this for my icon

That shiny white "smoke" around the head. Would it be possible to make that "smoke" red, and when i get a new msg/missed call, the "smoke" wil fade out and in , and maybe when it fades in the eyes gets more red?

If that is possible, id really like to learn it :)

Have one question:

Where do i change the bookmark desktop shortcut name?

Right now the ones i got have weird names and would look better with shorter names (exact names - maemo.org - NITdroid - jamendo etc).

I've changed the look and bacground pics of the bookmark and really want to change the names but don't know where to look. It doesn't work changing the .png 'background' name

As of now it looks like this:

if i followed you correctly then to change nameremove bookmark from desktop, open micro-b and bookmarks. for example find maemo bookmark and press on it to highlight options, select edit and change bookmark name to what you want. save and repeat on other bookmarks to change , close browser and re-add bookmarks to desktop. now will have correct names

Didn't work with the bookmarks, just makes the modded .png pic change to the website pic and no change in name - still 'maemo.org - Talk' ;)

So it must be another place to mod, to change the name?

This will happen with every icon you decide to change... Just copy your entire hicolor + themes folders onto your desktop and view at your leisure!

Thanks D4 i'm trying to get a cleaner look and only use two desktops. It's getting to 'messy' with all the different styles of app shortcuts. Like the minemal style more (less is simpler kind of thing) ;)

The wallpaper is from mowmos beehive theme :)

And thanks for the pointer on tweakr, worked like a charm, looking nice and clean now :D

Quick question!

When your screen is black and you press the power button, you get to the "Slide to unlock" screen. Is it possible to make the same thing happen on the unlock/lock button on the rigth? So i need to "Slide to unlock" no matter what button i use.

Or am i asking for alot now?:o

Look in opt/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/hildon for indicator_update_white1.png to indicator_update_white8.png and indicator_update1.png to indicator_update8.png

Check earlier on in this thread, I'm sure leetut and biggzy have both posted alternatives

They make up the startup loading bar/blobs.

I'm after the solid progress bar in the address bar in microb (web browser).

Yea I found 'Progressbar.png' and 'ProgressbarSmall.png' but they don't seem to be the ones used in microb.

I'm wondering if it's a 'color' (bloody yanks) value set in a css file somewhere.

EDIT:

No reference to it in the css file in related theme

Did you check the gtkrc in gtk-2.0 and the colors.config as well?

I think you are right, it's not a .png.

Nothing in colors.config, I'm just going through gtkrc atm. All I've found so far are references to the Progressbar.png and ProgressbarSmall.png.
