Maemo Extras-affected by server move?
 

Tried refreshing the app listing on my phone, and after waiting quite a while with a stuck progress bar I checked the log.

For example I see the message:

apt-worker: Ignoring version from wrong domain: mauku2.0-beta4update2

I'm assuming the maemo.org server migration has caused this. What are the correct settings to use for Maemo Extras now?

Yep, my phone only able to fetch from Nokia repositories.

I seem to be having the same problem. While trying to refresh the catalog the progress bar stalls.
The problem is the same for the testing; devel; tools and extras repos. 3rd party repos work fine as wel as the ones from nokia.

Where can i find the log?

it took 20 minutes from xterm to update

I believe the settings are the same, as after a few tries I got the rep updated, kept checking on my pc's browser until the page came up. I think its just a slow server.

When you are in the app manager showing software categories go to the drop down menu up top and you will see a "log" button.

yep, maemo extras fails with a message "Hash Sum mismatch"
If this does not get fixed in soon (30 minutes or so), I'll create a bug report (at least I did not find a matching bug report at bugs.maemo.org)

the last thing i heard about the update was they where trying to do it in one push and could take 3-12 hours.... So sounds sensible if they are all having issues.

I'd recommend holding out another 6/8 hours - been iffy for a good 4-6 hours so far :)

that explains things. the app mgr kept hanging... finally, after 5 minutes, it said it failed on the system repo. anybody know how to disable the nokia repos since the checkbox is greyed out?

good question though! :) (If that one is affected too - possible ovi store changes/firmware preparations?!! :) (Here's hoping!) - and sorry, no idea on the disabling of it! :(

autobuilder for extras-devel fails on apt-get, annoying...

Thank you, but I apologize --- I should have clarified that I'm on the N810 with OS2008. So, those screens don't apply to me --- at least not for the Nokia Software Updates repository. :)

That makes sense. Thought I had a magic N900 for a while there. :D
