0.3.2-1 Uploaded to -devel! Quite a while since the last release, and this one "only" brings some UI improvements. ;)

EDIT: Right, the contextmenu is removed from the main view - to delete a message, open it in the viewer and then pick "Delete" from the appmenu :)

fmms working on t-mobile uk. thank you frals. worth noting that the settings on your wiki are correct while the ones tmobile support gave me had different port and password and didn't work..

The new FMMS 0.3.2 is great. Love the fact that we can now save pictures. Only flaw is the name choosing. This is awesome.

There is a full list of APNs for many countries that is stored in the N900 itself already.

Would it be possible if fMMS can pull up this information and make it selectable for the users instead?

It's found in /etc/operator_settings

I'm not sure if these are accurate & recent but last modified date shown 15th Dec 09

No, it isn't possible. These are only internet APNs, but NOT the APNs used for MMS (which are very different for most providers due to service and billing reasons).

Since I have loaded version 0.3.2-1, I can not open a saved MMs or delete them. How do I delete these again?

Just tested the latest version, complete with address-book integration, and I have to say it sent a message like silk. Beautiful. When I get time, I'll have a look at receiving.

So my only problem now is that my n900 still insists on connecting every time to OrangeMMS instead of either Orange or Orange Internet (Both of which are now newer than it is). As it does this every time it drops a signal (and I live in a poor signal area) that's mildliy irritating. Other than that, I would say I now have a perfectly working MMS feature.

Found a bug with the latest version;

when attached image has filename long enough it "pushes" the send-button off the screen. Attached is a screenshot.

This app is fantastic - I just wondered if its possible to set it to automatically connect to my MMS profile when asking it to send/receive and then for it to disconnect again afterwards?

Sorry, not at the moment - it's being worked on but it's a lot of ugly hacks that needs to be sorted to get it to work reliably ;)

does anyone know if it works with vodafone australia because the only APN available is VF AU Internet and its not working

I've been using fmms since the beginning, and ever since then worked without any problems. After the newest update though, fetching mms messages doesn't work.
I can still send mms, so problem can't be apn.
doesn't open old mms either, that opened up before

After sending the first MMS to myself, I received okay.
Tried sending another MMS to my other phone, it seems to have been sent (shown in messages view) but the other phone never got the message.

Then I tried again and got the following error.

fMMS: Failed to parse SMS PUSH

Until now, I cannot send anymore MMS even to myself.

Please advise any solutions?

I have exactly the same problem since the update. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program and to manually delete the mms.db but no success...

Same here. Where FMMS stores mms data???? In which folder??? I want to manually delete one MMS that doesn't work

All messages are stored in directories below /home/user/.fmms, as well as in the mms.db in the mentioned folder. Simply removing the correct folder from the directory structure is not enough I'm afraid - the next version will have the tap-and-hold menu again as I just fixed it in http://gitorious.org/fmms/fmms/commi...197156c2d660d2

Guys having a problem with gnome module. I think its about dependencies but still didn`t find any clue why the app don`t work or how to fix it without rewriting the code. The fMMS app just don`t start at all. In the console i get a message like this:

Maybe try this from the terminal:

As root, type the following:

apt-get install gnome-python

0.3.3 uploaded, should hopefully solve most of the problems introduced in 0.3.2 :P

* added method for timeformat to controller, removed it from viewer/gui
* fmms_gui.py: readded context menu, fully working.

* only numbers allowed in img resize field

Just got my n900 two days ago and played with fMMS last night. Where can I report bugs? I'll go ahead and report it here if it helps. Sorry if this has already been posted (don't feel like going through 67 pages to see).

Anyways, the bug I have been experiencing is that the send button get's pushed to the right if the length of the file name is long. Here's a screen shot (the shorter the length of the file name the more of the send button you can see)...

Awesome :-) I'm loving the app. Found some installation instructions as I was browsing reddit.com one day and everything worked perfectly the first time I tried it.

To follow up with my fMMS: Failed to parse SMS PUSH error, I've managed to fix the issue by reinstalling the application.

The only issue for me right now is I can only send MMS to myself.
I tried sending it to other people but none received it. I tried by sending it to my iPhone's number + N97's number and neither could receive the MMS.

For some reason the newest version isn't showing up for me in devel, I mean when I'm trying to update it doesn't find a new version.

I uninstalled fmms but still i couldn't find it from repos. Something is broken?

..edit
After repo refresh i can find it but it's still the old 0.3.2-1. Did packages cleaning process in repos do something bad?
