I can send MMS, and I receive the PUSH-message for mms, and I receive the mms, but fMMS wont download the message. I see the header and the senders number/name in the inbox, but when I try to open the received message, it does nothing. The loading icon appears for a second or so, and nothing more happens, it just idles in the inbox again.
What is usually wrong then, when this happens?

Thanks for this fantastic app! Working wonderfully with Telenor (Norway). I installed it earlier today and initially experienced terion's problem just above, but after updating to 0.3.3-1 (bug - still says 0.3.2 in the "About" dialog), I can open MMS messages.

Tip: Allow messages to be deleted through the GUI. ;)

Just updated to 0.3.3-1 (yes, about says 0.3.2) but I have now the delete option on long-press.
Unfortunately I still cant open my MMS messages, the same thing happens. It doesnt seem to download them, or allow me to view the messages somehow..

Hi, i upgraded fmms to 0.3.2 and tjhe updated apn seem to have coincided with my aim not being able to reconnect to the server, i dont know how to check the correlation of the settings that i would need to change to get it to work again, but it is rather annoying. im going to update to 0.3.3 to see if that helps but uhh does anyone know where i can look to find out the settings for a proper aim connection while using the fmms?

Since the upgrade from version 0.3.1 to version 0.3.2 I am only able to send MMS but receiving doesn't work now.

i've tried numerous setups on with fAPN and fMMS .. just can't get it to work ... so far I have this ...

Håber det bliver muligt i fremtiden at den automatisk forbinder til apn ved send/modtag mms. Men bra at man kan sende mms med N900 nu :).

Thank you frals for your tireless work on this. One request, though. I often send photos by MMS to email addresses instead of phone numbers. (I don't have a data plan.) Your earlier versions supported this function. However, now with the latest release, I get an invalid phone number message when I try to type in an email address. I wish you could restore this ability. Also, the option to choose an email address from the "To;" field would be appreciated. Previously, I had to manually type in email addresses.

Opening an MMS is considerably slower than before.
Also the issue of sending MMS to other phone numbers is not fixed for me. I can only send it to myself.

Interesting it worked before as it shouldn't have - I'm looking at reimplementing it again :)

Uh, does it take more then a second to open the message? How big is the attachment? I still manage to open my messages within ~1 second. I guess it might be "considerably" slower if you got an enormous phonebook. Either way I'm working on removing the phonebook lookup and instead make it cached in the sqlite-db so it should be fixed at some point...
About your issue, I actually have no idea how to fix it since the messages generated are valid, your MMSC accepts the messages just fine and then they just aren't delivered. :<

Hi, I also have problems with fMMS, it does not start.

/tmp/fmms is empty. But when starting fmms from console it gives following error:

Uh, how did you install? From the repos or manually? Seems like you have some old python-hildon installed (guess I'll have to depend on >= some version) where hildon.GtkTreeView wasn't fully implemented.

Ok, I found solution to this problem.
For some reason update gui hasn't update everything. I made apt-get upgade from console and now it works again.

i have set the resize to 1024....

I receive it as 240x180

but i check the sent one it is 1024x769..

something wrong???

I have roughly 500 contacts in the phonebook :)

I'll play around with the network settings later on tonight in hope to fix the delivery issue. It seems there are 2 settings for O2-UK
