I just downloaded a updated version of FMMS last night. this new one had a pretty icon and 3 extra modes. HAVOK, RUDE, and POLITE. what are these modes and what do they do? does it matter which one you use?

Regarding the problems people have with crashing after sending a MMS with 0.6.1 I can't reproduce this at all here - when it happens please try to launch the application from xterminal (command: /opt/fmms/fmms_gui.py) and PM/email me the output you get in the terminal if it crashes.

EDIT: Seems I managed to reproduce it - investigating whats wrong. :)

EDIT2: Think I've fixed it. Some testing before new release.

hi

I can send MMS sucessfully but do not recieve MMS and do not even a recieve notification. Checked the settings but didnot find anything wrong. what could be the reason?

Just checkign to see if there is any update on my problem. i can receive mms but i can not send it. the wiki mentioned the problem being a place holder but i dont know what that is. I sent the file log after the issue to frals a few days ago

1) Send/Receive -> phone connect automatically to MMS APN -> OK

Rude
1) I connected to WiFi -> open fmms -> send mms -> phone disconnect from WiFi and connect to the MMS APN -> after sending the mms, phone is disconnect from MMS APN -> but not connect again to old (WiFi).

2) I connected to 3G Internet -> open fmms -> send mms -> it's a same result...

Havoc

1) I'm NOT connected -> send/receive mms -> OK

2) I connected to WiFi -> send/receive mms -> OK

2) I connected to 3G -> send/receive mms -> OK

I sent you the two log files to your e-mail.
No' 1 - after sending all mms (all tests)
No' 2 - after deleting all mms from app.

Using 0.6.2. Sent one MMS, was received by the other party without problem. Received one MMS, was displayed once but did not show up in the list. Restarted fmms but it kept crashing. Deleting .fmms and rebooting the N900 solved it, although all the old MMS are gone.

Still, thanks for fmms! Great job, frals! :)

I have a problem with an MMS ad that my carrier sent me. (Not that I really care about it, just thought I'd report the problem.) It contains a video and some text. fMMS just shows a button to start the video, but it doesn't show the text. I attached the message and the log file. I omitted the video, though, since I doubt it's of any relevance. Just tell me if you need it.

I tested it with version 0.6.1 and an older version (unfortunately, I don't remember which).

i have installed fmms and sent my first mms but now its not posible to sent any mms i can recieve mms.
when i try to sent a mms the app hangs a popup is asking me to close the app

fmms was crashing on start for me too

I can't see the file fmms_config_dialog in /opt/fmms/ . I would think that is why.

Frals i installed 0.7.0 but i can`t delete old mms from list.
when i choose to delete it asks are you sure then you can clic on yes or no but noting happens.

and if you want the mms apn settings for KPN Netherlands i have them.

I did some testing, and the adress-book connetion looks great.

I noticed one thing though, and I get a feeling I have read about this before, but I can't find it now.

If I'm looking at an mms, and tries to delete it from the top-menu, I get a question if i'm sure (or something like that) with "Yes" och "No" buttons to press. When I press the "Yes" button, it lights up (blue) but nothing happens.

Long press and delete from the list works though.

Great work frals on this new version (and all the ones before too)

Opsi, seems I broke that somewhere along the way - I had it working yesterday :D Anyway - it's fixed in the latest git so the fix is in the next version, thanks for reporting it! :)

I just found it out. I had resize set to 0, so that was obviously going to fail. I'll update the wiki with my carrier, which is not listed.
