It says I thanked you at the bottom of your post. That's true, so far as it goes, but what it actually means is that I have commissioned a gargantuan bronze statue of you that your wisdom never be forgotten. I'm just letting you know so the team of photographers doesn't come as a surprise.

ps - anyone install the "extra decoders support"...i did but then my device was lagging a lot so i uninstalled it. plus i couldnt see my media - hmmm, perhaps i didnt restart?? is that working well with you guys?

Same here! Causes heavy lagging when recording or viewing video. Dont know why but seems that audio goes out of sync.

Restart didnt help for me, so i had to remove it.

It was likely just the rebooting that did it then. Rebooting doesn't reset the counter that, when it goes high enough, blocks the boot process. As annoying as it is, it's necessary to do a full power off and cold boot after every few reboots to reset that counter and be safe.

Power Button --> Switch Off!

I'm guessing?

interesting, I think you should see the later link to bugzilla from my signature. that * (*) * * * is similar to "getbootstate bricks device after 17 random reboots when there are no normal reboots between" (or what was it again?!)

e: if I understood correctly the counter will be fixed in FW update and yes, yours is exactly the same when I looked the wiki.

getbootstate: Unexpected reset count 50 exceeds maximum (51)
getbootstate: Entering state 'MALF'.
getbootstate: Houston, we have a problem, powering off...
