UK N800 Buyer warning (differing prices!)

The UK site is rather confusing when it comes to finding and buying the N800.

This is made worse by the fact you can buy it on two different pages at two different prices!

This one is £269 delivered

http://direct.nokia.com/Product.aspx?model=n800

This one is £279 + £4.99 delivery!

http://shop.nokia.co.uk/invt/0276499

Crazy!

Thanks, top tip. Assume, I hope, the lower price of £269 is right, not least because cheaper, but closer to the 400 Euro's + postage.

£269 with free shipping is what I paid on Sunday evening, and my N800 arrived Wednesday morning.

Yes, same here. I used the £269 link. Ordered Wednesday and received Friday.

I ordered late Sun (early Mon?) and it arrived Thu afternoon to the Wirral.

Please tell me how your cursor buttons feel. On mine the up/down buttons feel mushy, they don't pop. Right/left are fine. If I have a faulty unit then I should really send it back on Monday and the clock is ticking.

Apparently direct.nokia.com is run by SDSA in Belgium and Nokia Shop is run by Nokia. I spoke with SDSA about my order and they said they have been told by Nokia to no longer sell the tablet to the UK. Shame as they were cheaper than Nokia shop! However I read a magazine competition
that said you get a free Cloud wifi access for a month.

Did anyone buying in the UK shop get Cloud access? Maybe that is why the UK is more expensive to buy than any other country?

That's taking the mickey. And there was me thinking expansys were generally one of the cheaper suppliers.

Yes, quite mad. From experience Expansys prices are all over the place.

Not the most extreme one, but one I just noticed, they sell the Dell Axim x51v for £15 less than Dell, but the N800 for £32 more than Nokia.
