can a good "paint" like app be done on n900?
im would love if a good drawing app comes to n900 with many of the tools like in photoshop =)
something like that would be great nice app!!!! what do you think? |

Overlord - this seems just like the other post you have just created for editing pictures? - although i agree it would be cool - i do not think we need towo almost identical threads?

Under easy debian chroot I use mtpaint (which is in the debian repository). It is actually quite fast and although it doesn't rival GIMP in terms of features, it's not bad at all. I have also used GIMP under easy debian, but it is -- as expected -- much slower.

i like the idea of a more advanced image editor/paint app.
i do think that it would make more sense to port one with a custom UI as the screen is not a pc screen. is the picture editor on the n900 open source? if so can we not use that as a base and build on it? or use the sketching app as a base? |
