i figure out fast sms rejection but what is fast call from shortcuts all about? new pr1

:D I too have been puzzling over this one. I thought it would be the ability to have a one click call process.

Try create contact shortcut on desktop and press it.
(I still don't download PR1.1)

It is no different, you still have to select the relevant phone number or call method. Can't see what is fast or different about this :confused:

Maybe the shortcut feature means the new feature i discoverd from the missing call list? since pr1, if you choose a missed call, you'll get prompted only with the number the person called. If you press the avatar you'll get the full contact details. Pretty neat, i love it!

yeah I think this is a call log change cause there is no change the home shortcuts :-(

I'm still not convinced. The change log mentions both
and
I'd have interpreted the new behaviour in the call log as "call log improvement"... which means "Fast call from home shortcuts" should be something different.

(The way it's written, it has to be something different. "Home shortcut" isn't all that ambiguous, is it? It must be a shortcut on the home screen or such...)

Hey that button is actually pretty cool :D
Its quiet a huge shortcut button to call or sms someone.

Maybe they've just improved the launch speed of the phone app after you click a phone number from a desktop shortcut?

a few months ans firmware upgrades later: has anybody found out what the exciting "fast call from home shortcut" feature in pr 1.1 was?

What do you mean by fast sms rejection? Seems i havent even found this feature yet! Unless i do know it but dont call it that.

when a call comes in, on the screen you will see a envelope, if you click on it it will reject the phone call with a sms you type in
