Poll: n800 design...

would you rather prefer the n800 design or buy a n800 with the same old design of 770 but the insides of a n800? (maybe a little fatter too)

I prefer the N800 design.

I also prefer just about everything to do with the N800.

I'm for !
Give it ome time !

Consider that the design is not only the outfit of the 800
but also, hardware, and also new ergonomics in the 2007 OS.

i thought I preferred the 770 form until I spent more time with the 800. Has anyone else noticed that the stand works well as a kind of hand "strap?" I slide my hand under the open stand, and have a secure grip.

Yeah, a few of us have made that observation Chas. Which has led me to think that the next iteration of this product line should take that into account, and incorporate a stand that accomodates that.

I have none of the tablets but I'd still prefer 770s design on a n800... BTW is the 770 part of the n-series?

Re: Poll: n800 design...

The 770 is not officially an N-series device. The N has to be prefixed for that to be the case.

The 770 is not part of the N-series.

Re: Poll: n800 design...

I find the N800 design to be more appealing than that of the 770. Not to mention it is more comfortable to hold. I do think the 770's sliding cover would be nice to have but putting that on the N800 would make it boxier and not as comfortable to hold. Nokia did a really nice job with the hardware design on this thing and I can't really point out any major issues with it.
